Students were given a choice to work on their films in teams or as individuals, and they were given the opportunity to explore topics of their choice with one caveat. That caveat was that their topics had to connect in some substantive way with one or more of the course themes.

The instructional team has coded and organized the submitted student film topics into the following broad categories. All students who agreed to have their film appear in this film festival appear in one of the following five broad categories, and the judges panel will rank their selections for the top five student films as best in class per category.

The film festival is now open and officially runs from Dec. 1-13.
