This year ISS students are producing individual films, but they are all working in peer-review teams to provide regular feedback throughout the research and filmmaking process. Each student is free to explore any topic of their choice with one caveat. That caveat is that their topics are required to connect in some substantive way with one or more of the course themes.
The instructional team will code and organize final submitted student films into the following broad categories:
Craft Studies (broadly defined), Material Culture Studies, and Cultural/Global Studies
The film festival will officially run from April 25-May 8, 2022
Final film submissions will be populated into categories and will be available to view on Monday April 25, 2022
